Project Analyst (contract role)

A reputed client in Telecom industry is looking for a Project Analyst to join their Infrastructure division in order to drive the final stage of deployment and ensure sites that have undergone infrastructure upgrades are cleared for capitalisation by the shareholders in a timely manner.

What you can expect to be doing:

The role's main focus will be on the Final Accounts process:

• Coordinating areas within the business - Deployment, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Sub Contractors
• Ensure milestones are claimed & backfilled
• Working within the infrastructure team to ensure Purchase Order cover is reconciled and cleared down (receipted/cancelled) in a timely manner
• Work with team members to cleanse data to achieve the above

In addition to the core role the successful candidate will be involved in:

• Updating monthly forecasts into Accounting/ERP system
• Issuing weekly/monthly productionised reports to Finance & shareholders
• Month end data/file processing

What we are looking for:

• Strong communication skills, verbal & written
• Attention to detail & well organised
• No Finance qualification required but an understanding of POs, receipting would be beneficial
• Strong understanding of data & good use of MS Excel
• Ability to manipulate data & understand complex formulas
• Knowledge of Accounting/ERP systems - IFS, SAP, Oracle etc
• Telecommunications deployment experience - highly desirable
• Experience using Microsoft Excel Power Query - highly desirable
