3 Month Initial Contract

A leading Telecoms company are currently seeking a Project Accountant to join their team on an interim basis, with a view to starting ASAP.

The Role:

• This is a 3 month contract to support with clear down/reduction of open POs but also to assess whether the PO process is effective, and to make recommendations on how to improve this.
• You will coordinate the reduction of outstanding purchase orders, working closely with the finance team and wider business
• Proactively work with key contacts across the business to clear down outstanding POs, understanding the sensitivities involved in terms of both business and financial impact

Experience Required:

• Solid accounting experience preferable
• Ability and confidence holding discussions around the business, understanding the sensitivity around closing down PO's
• Aware of impacts when closing down PO's i.e. impact on financial statements etc.
• ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified
• Experience with Agresso would be an advantage
