Level 4 Microsoft (WINTEL and VDI) Support. The Contractor shall provide Level 4 Microsoft (WINTEL and VDI) support remotely to deployed sites Hubs, PoPs and Nodes across all security domains within a complex system.

The Contractor's responsibilities in respect of this Service shall be as follows:

• 3rd & 4th line support
• Provision of advice and recommendations with respect to design change.
• Responding and resolving or providing temporary fixes or workarounds for Incidents escalated from Level 3.
• Conducting root cause analysis in order to provide permanent solutions.
• Updating Incidents records.
• Proactive monitoring of infrastructure via support tooling.
• Engaging with Engineering Teams to assist with implementations including new releases.
• Ad-hoc onsite Level 4 support
• Manage & execute maintenance tasks

Mandatory Skills Required - a mixture of some of the below:

• Veritas Storage Foundation / Veritas Volume Replicator
• Windows Server 2003 / Windows XP Desktop
• Active Directory / DNS / DHCP / DFS
• Group Policy Objects
• Server Failure Debugging
• Anti Virus (VirusScan & EPO)
• Microsoft Sharepoint Server 2003
• Microsoft Identity Information Server
• Alternative Web Servers such as Apache
• Microsoft Windows Sharepoint Services 2003
• Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)
• Microsoft ISA Server 2004
