Job Description

We are looking for a Town and Country Planning Manager to join our client's expanding Head Office Team, with one the world's leading Mobile Telecoms Service Providers. You'll be part of a vibrant, agile team at the forefront of Mobile Telecoms and IT Technology.

The position is placed within our Property Directorate which sits in the Professional Services and Infrastructure Asset Management Teams who are responsible for property guidance & strategy and acquisition delivery. The successful candidate will manage Town & Country Planning and Community and Government Affairs across the portfolio of radio access network sites.

The role

  • Manage T&C legislative changes
  • Advise acquisition suppliers and manage escalations
  • Deal with and manage Community Affairs complaints
  • Manage the lobbying of central government and devolved authorities for new Planning legislation and any potential effects of wider new legislation upon the radio access network
  • Manage and improve Supplier Performance within SLAs
  • Liaise with Property, Legal, RAN, New Technology and administrative teams internally
  • Planning and prioritisation of workloads

Must Have

  • Experience in Telecoms acquisition and T&C Planning matters
  • Knowledge and experience to interpret Town & Country Planning legislation
  • Knowledge and experience of RAN design and new technology
  • Ability to manage supplier performance and delivery
  • Ability to work independently in order to inspire, innovative and encourage new approaches and procedures
  • Ability to write processes, procedures and contract scope of works
  • Commercial or contract management knowledge
