Looking for an experienced professional with DWDM Equipment including installation, maintenance with design capabilities

We are looking for committed people to deliver optical high availability Optical DWDM Transmission networks across the UK and Europe

The role will involve On site installation & commissioning, ongoing Remote & On Site Support (including Telephone Standby) along with elements of Optical Network Design.

You will join a small specialist team Designing, Delivering and supporting a Secure Optical DWDM network across the UK based on ADVA equipment.

Person specification;

This opportunity is for an experienced (ADVA accreditation will be advantageous) DWDM engineer who has worked in installing & commissioning DWDM (including ROADM) equipment and has experience in providing remote 3rd line support for such networks.

Duties include design, staging, installation, commissioning, audit and ongoing support (remote and on site) of optical equipment as installed.

As part of the package a Business Needs Vehicle is provided and the role holder will be required to join a Telephone Standby Rota (1 week in 4 or 1 week in 5).
