Service Operations Manager

Exciting new opportunity for an experienced Service Operations Manager to join a mobile telecommunications company in Reading on a permanent basis.

As Service Operations Manager you would:

  • Act as the escalation point for incident management and provide assurance and reporting to shareholders
  • Report and monitor KPI's providing valuable insight
  • Predict and prevent negative impacts on the network
  • Support CSI initiatives
  • Engage effectively with shareholders and supplier
  • Be responsible for incident closure
  • Be responsible for reviewing reports on service quality of suppliers
  • Provide input to Initial Impact Assessment completion
  • Be responsible for monitoring SLAs for suppliers in incident management and managing supplier performance
  • Be responsible for identifying risks to the network
  • Be responsible for assuring service security
  • Be accountable for assuring incident management activity in suppliers
  • Be accountable for the Major Incident Procedure
  • Be responsible for being the management escalation point for suppliers for incidents that need escalation

You will ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • An understanding of Operations within Telecoms (mobile, fixed line or MVNO)
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
