Senior People Business Partner

Berkshire (6 Month Contract)

The Company:

A leading Telecoms company, who operate in an agile, collaborative and customer driven environment. They are currently going through an exciting period of change, and as such are looking for an additional Senior People Business Partner to join their team on an interim basis.

Role Context:

The Senior Business Partner works with a functional leadership team or business leader of a strategic initiative to understand the business outcomes and ensure the optimal people strategy and solutions are developed and effectively applied to meet these needs

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning - Takes responsibility for developing and delivering an approach to strategic planning for a key part of the organization.

Improvement / Innovation - Identifies shortcomings, then suggests and implements improvements to existing business practices, while developing and delivering projects or a work stream within the organization's change management program with guidance from senior colleagues.

Building Capability - Builds own capabilities and provides specialized training or coaching in area of expertise to others throughout the organization.

Needs Assessment - Builds complex frameworks to fully assess the scope and context of short-term and long-term business needs.

Recommendations - Makes a significant improvement on short-term or long-term business performance by recommending authoritative technical and/or professional solutions

Experience Required:

  • Previous experience working in a large corporate company is essential
  • OD / Change / Transformation experience
  • Extensive experience operating in a Senior HR role
  • Calm and pragmatic approach, with the ability to deal with change and ambiguity
  • CIPD certified
