Job title: Senior Business Development Manager for PC

Location: London

This is an essential role to drive our client's laptop business success. You will bring industry insights and expertise on understanding the users, the PC market and the competitive industry. You will help our client to define its outstanding products and features. You will own the go-to market planning, driving demand and the successful delivery of our client's products.

The successful candidate will have a comprehensive grasp of the entire sales cycle from the initial business development to the closure of the sales and demonstrate excellent client relationship management.


  • Building and driving Marketing plans with key partners in a collaborative environment
  • Identifying new partners and building strategies to drive collaborative solutions across the UK
  • Managing laptop KPIs, including but not limited to revenue, profit and loss and market share
  • Making the necessary day-to-day decisions to achieve direct sales targets and activities, securing and analysing relevant information to identify critical issues and undertaking appropriate and optimised actions
  • Developing and implementing promotional plans and strategies with customers based on sales and market data analysis
  • Seeking out new opportunities, enhancing existing opportunities to build, expand, manage and drive the sales pipeline
  • Creating a sales plan to achieve overall business and sales targets, leveraging market opportunities, learning from previous sales outcomes, reviewing the progress and adjusting strategies as necessary
  • Building an effective relationship with customers, internal and external partners
  • Identifying and providing insights into sales and market trends

Experience required

  • 5-7 years laptop sales experience and working with significant UK retailers and distributors
  • Extensive knowledge of PC, laptops and computer accessories and applications including leading hardware and software components
  • Existing expertise on the targeted industry and customers
  • Proven track record of selling in bulk products (preferably laptops)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent time management and business intelligence skills
  • Highly analytical and detailed-oriented with solid reporting skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
