Job Description

We are looking for a great Security Project Manager to join our client's expanding Head Office Team, with one the world's leading Mobile Telecoms Service Providers. You'll be part of a vibrant, agile team at the forefront of Mobile Telecoms and IT Technology.

The Security Project Manager will ensure our information security risk profile is reduced by managing the delivery of our overall security project.

You will ensure the security project delivers to the time cost and quality targets and that all project stakeholders inside & outside are engaged to ensure there is full understanding of activities and best practice opportunities are exploited

Management and control of internal resources and third parties to deliver the project commitments.

Deliver a security system that aligns to ISO27001 and CAS-T

Manage key project stakeholder interactions to achieve successful project delivery.

Other responsibilities for the Security Project Manager include:

  • Ensure the company security project is delivered to the agreed time, cost and quality criteria
  • Ensure the project is correctly structured with an overall plan and artefacts as defined by our delivery way
  • To work with other project managers and internal SME's delivering security related work to give an overall view of the delivery of projects and to demonstrate the impact of delivery on reducing our security risk
  • The Security Project Manager will define and execute activities to enable us to achieve ISO27001 or CAS-T certification
  • To forecast and manage delivery against a documented activity and financial plan
  • To define, mobilise and execute work packages in line with the security plan using internal resources or third party suppliers
  • To ensure the company security risk register is updated with the latest status of delivery across the organisation
  • To control the change to the companys' security policy and procedures
  • To manage project boards ensuring decisions are communicated to and ratified by the appropriate governance forums

The successful Security Project Manager will have:

  • Knowledge of security standards
  • Demonstrable track record of delivery across company initiatives
  • Skilled in aligning technical and process changes
