Exciting opportunity for a Programme & PMO Director to join a leading ADC organisation in a brand new role.

This role would suit an individual keen to be in the office environment as will be mostly on site.

Role:

With circa 22 direct reports and a wider project team of 200+ the Programme & PMO Director will be overseeing a number of major telecoms client accounts in addition to the following:

Provide inspirational leadership, clear direction and line management to the Programme Office team to ensure that they have the right capabilities and behaviours to operate strategically and deliver quality solutions to the business.

Acts as a key member of organisation's leadership community, role models company behaviours and contributes to the achievement of the wider Business Strategy.

The Programme & PMO Director oversees the project management process including governance, team leadership, monitoring, prioritisation, communication, and quality controls.

Essential skills:

Must have strong leadership and people skills. Somebody that is able to come into the organisation and immediately instil credibility and trust across the function.

Strong PMO background.

Highly experienced policy executive.

Expert-level knowledge of project and change management, methodologies, techniques, processes

Budget, cost, and profitability management skills.

Telecoms , Power or Renewable Energy industry background
