PMO Manager - PMO - P30 - Swords - Dublin

Are you a professional with excellent experience of PMO who has the exposure of building a PMO from the ground up and therefore understands its related challenges and ultimate value? Are you a pragmatic and strong leader with experience in project delivery? Can you build and deliver a PMO which will sit at the heart of delivery ensuring consistent execution of Programmes, Projects and BAU Service across the organisation, by providing governance and a range of services that proactively support successful delivery to our customers? If so, then please apply to a brand new opportunity for one of the world's largest IT solutions and Services providers based in Dublin, Ireland.

Our client is looking for a Senior PMO Manager to deliver a PMO Service to their Ireland accounts, delivering governance and assistance to projects. The role will involve delivering and building a PMO Service aligned to EPO standards; assist in improving our clients reputation within their relationship with their customers; working with the onsite / Account teams and with their Ireland Business Unit to grow the business and co-ordinate all PMO activity including Change and Admin, drive standardisation, and embed full and proper EPO support in country.

You will have indepth exposure to the following Services:

  • Governance and Control
  • Communications, Reporting and Management Information (MI)
  • Financial Management
  • Planning
  • Quality Assurance
  • Resource Management
  • RAID Management
  • Change Management and New Demand

To be successful you will ideally have strong experience in the following skillset:

  • Excellent PMO understanding and indepth working experience.
  • Experience of building successful PMO from the ground up and understand it's pitfalls and values.
  • Understanding of P3O
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Able to produce high quality reporting for a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Comprehensive understanding of project finances, including Revenue accruals, invoicing, purchase order accruals and able to manage this with finance for the sector

Understanding of Agile Project Management and being comfortable with managing SharePoint would also be desirable, however not essential.
