Network Operation Centre (NOC) Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen from a leading Chinese telecom operator. We are looking for a NOC Engineer to join our NOC Centre.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for 7*24hr duty on shift in NOC Europe (night and public holiday shift based at home);
  2. Responsible for 7*24hr calls answering for network trouble and ICT problem notice;
  3. Responsible for handling notices 7*24hr from NOC Europe email and internal system;
  4. Responsible for following up all related trouble tickets and escalating cases in Europe and in the UK;
  5. Responsible for sorting and sending plan, maintenance work and emergency outage notification to end customer or related partners;
  6. Responsible for checking network element twice a day(may need more times accordingly with different situation);
  7. Responsible for provisioning of trouble recovery and migration;
  8. Responsible for generating major trouble report and list of affected circuit;
  9. Responsible for generating trouble report and providing LOG record accordingly with request from end customer or other internal departments;
  10. Responsible for maintaining record for network assets and spare parts, customer's service records, and other related materials.

Your skills:

  1. Fluently English and Mandarin speaking, reading and writing is preferable;
  2. Basic network technical knowledge or related computer major;
  3. Good communication skill and strong sense of responsibility;
  4. Certification of CCNA or HCNP would be considered priority;
  5. Good communication skills.
