The Migration Architect works with stakeholders to determine the migration and integration approach and implementation across all phases of the project. The Migration Architect is responsible for the production of the Migration Strategy and the Technical Implementation plans.

The role is responsible for establishing a coherent migration and integration approach and identifying the key dependencies within the project and on the Authority, including third parties, to ensure successful migration of the end user services.

Key Responsibilities

• The production and maintenance of the project Migration Strategy and the technical implementation plans which will include the identification of third party dependencies and changes and the migration phases.
• Interacting with the project design team to understand each component's migration requirements, including data and user migration and to provide a coherent approach to migration across all components.
• Liaising with the project and programme management to ensure that all Authority and third party dependencies are identified, understood and managed to successful conclusion.
• Working collaboratively with the customer programme and technical delivery team to agree the migration approach and implementation plans
• Supporting the customer by providing technical input to third party change requests
