Job Description
Job title: Mandarin Speaking Financial Management Specialist
Location: Ipswich, UK (onsite)
Key Responsibilities
- Daily budget management of R&D projects
- Preparing R&D project expense budgets based on business plans, managing budget execution, identifying weak points in operational management and improving budget resource utilisation
- Dealing with internal reporting as required
- Developing costing models based on the chip production process, providing management advice to the production department and contributing to the reduction of production costs
- Tracking and managing chip sales and shipments
- Reporting the budget execution to the director of R&D Centre on a monthly basis
- Maintaining regular cooperation with the HQ's financial management department
- Dynamic management of EU grant projects and supporting with external audits.
Key Skills and Experience required
- Bachelor or Master in Economics, Business, Accounting, and Finance related field. ACCA qualification will be a plus
- Ideally more than 3 years working experience in financial management or management accounting, e.g. budget management, cost management
- Work experience in semiconductor chip manufacturing industry is preferred
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and cost management, e.g. International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Practical knowledge of financial accounting and reporting
- Must have strong work ethics, detail oriented and can do attitude
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
