Legal Counsel (Commercial Property)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Counsel (Commercial Property) to join the expanding in-house Legal Property team at a leading telecoms company.

Role Purpose:

  • Supporting on all aspects of legal work including both non contentious transactional aspects and property litigation through the County Court and the Land Tribunal, covering renewals, modifications and acquisitions in relation to their portfolio of sites;
  • Managing external lawyers working on the portfolio
  • Advising property teams and agent on queries and analysing their legal rights
  • Assisting with establishing and improving processes in regards to the impacts of the Electronic Communications Code

Requirements to be successful in this role:

  • Commercial Property lawyer with experience in property litigation and landlord and tenant issues
  • Membership of the Law Society of England and Wales or the Bar Council.
  • Knowledge of property law including Landlord and Tenant Act 1954;
  • Property litigation experience
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of properties/ Client with multiple sites
  • A thirst for knowledge and an appetite to learn
