Responsibilities / Key Skills Required:

• Previous experience of delivery at an Enterprise Network Architect level with responsibility for network design leadership
• Subject matter expert for Juniper networking technologies
• Ability to drive through Juniper Operating System faults (JTAC) through process, influence Juniper development / resolution process
• Delivery experience in Juniper space for WAN design, delivery, implementation and migrations
• Experience in architecting and operating WAN / LAN across UK and Overseas
• Define WAN standards for architecture, configuration and tooling
• Ability to set direction to enable automation exploiting existing toolsets
• Ability and experience operating across all security tiers
• Provide network leadership to environments to ensure they are maintained and up to date
• Hands on delivery experience where necessary in order to progress activities
• Provide support, leadership and guidance to design/solution architect teams
• Leadership and guidance in setting direction, continuous improvement in network operational management to ensure WAN estate is optimised and efficient
• Mentoring and up-upskilling of teams
• Relationship management including suppliers and customer
• Ability to provide leadership and advice and guidance to customer changes including other network architects/solution architects delivering implementation
• Ability to set direction on traffic management and estate wider traffic flows to optimise customer experience and service delivery

Desirable:

• Demonstrable architectural experience with Cisco technologies
• Juniper accredited

The successful candidate will be required to go through Security Clearance prior to starting.
