Job Description
Our leading Global IT Client is looking for a Project Manager to take lead (alongside an architect) facing their Government customer in a Data Centre Tooling project. The Project Manager will be managing resources who want live systems access to their infrastructure to do discovery of Dell storage devices. The individual needs to have Data Centre tooling experience, deploying tools (preferably D42 or any other tooling will be considered) to discover information about assets in the data centres.
Responsibilities:
Managing Infrastructure deployment and data gathering in data centres.
Facilitate and co-ordinate the technical teams to support the Client in getting D42 set-up on all of the servers.
Management of Infrastructure DC discovery using tools like D42 preferably or others.
Management of third parties specialising in Dell storage solutions.
Knowledge of how to protect live services hosted by the company.
Strong Project Management and stakeholder experience along with the ability to understand technical information and work with the technical teams.
The Project manager needs to be security cleared or should be willing to go through security clearance (may take 4 weeks to achieve the clearance).
