Finance Manager - ACCA/ACA or CIMA - Chippenham - Contract

My client is global leader in IT Service Provision who now requires an experienced Finance Manager to support management decision-making, strategic planning, operational controls and financial risk management for a technology services SME statutory entity based in Chippenham.

The Finance Manager will be engaged in the provision of financial support, insight and analysis to senior business managers and ensuring delivery of corporate objectives and governance requirements. As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for the management of a small team comprising of three employees.

Your further responsibilities will include:

  • Financial and Management reporting including all planning, analysis and project accounting.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting and cash flow management.
  • Oversee the day to day running of the accounts function including line management of the three other members of the finance team.
  • Preparation of Statutory Accounts.
  • Produce sound financial information, planning and analysis for management and board meetings.
  • Identify, design and implement strategic finance projects as and when required
  • Implement best practice policies and procedures.

To be successful you will ideally possess the following:

  • Fully qualified Accountant [ACCA/ACA or CIMA] with 2 years plus post qualified experience
  • Able to provide input to the overall management of the business
  • Highly commercial with strong systems and process skills
  • Dynamic, driven and an excellent communicator
  • Experience of working in an SME with a technology services sector background is desirable.
  • Good time management, organisation and analytical skill
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Sage 200 (preferable)
