Design Engineering Manager

Great opportunity to work as Design Engineering Manager (Electrical) for a high profile , well-loved brand within the telecoms sector that also offers flexible working from the Berkshire based office when everything gets back to normal. This role is looking for someone with the right experience to act as senior technical engineering authority for design and implementation related to the specific field of Electrical Engineering required to facilitate the deployment of passive infrastructure into the company site portfolio.

The role will involve:

• To be lead design authority for the field of electrical engineering.
• To manage general design queries, generating design standards and supplier auditing.
• To act as technical lead for all incoming design queries related to electrical engineering and resolve with appropriate design guidance.
• Resolve queries in relation to deployment, sites out of service and maintenance issues.

Skills and experience:

• In-depth knowledge of Telecom and Telecom infrastructure.
• Broad experience working in site design environment, working with suppliers and shareholder management
• Must be able to manage design queries related to electrical engineering
• Good experience of ensuring quality and compliance are adhered to by suppliers
• Able to demonstrate experience of Electrical Design
• Ability and experience with leading other
