Delivery Manager - Mobile Telecoms
Contract to December 2022
Hybrid working - visits to Reading office will be required on occasion

The Role:

Deployment function of leading telecoms company is seeking 3 Delivery Managers who will be responsible for the successful delivery of a series of projects and programmes. These deployments are delivered via Managed Service Partners and Small Works Contractors and are to upgrade and enhance the capabilities of the networks to meet increasing customer demands.

We are actively encouraging applications from industries outside of telecommunications (i.e. construction, aviation, defence etc ), if you have the ability to oversee the delivery of multiple fast paced projects and have worked in a technical environment, we would love to hear from you.

What you can expect to be doing:

• Work within small team directly managing Principal Contractors and MSP Suppliers to deliver sites into Operational care
• Work with Senior Build/Assurance/PC Managers to deliver to process and standards
• Manage the implementation with the Suppliers, and Shareholder teams
• Assure the successful delivery of passive infrastructure to the company's design and HSQA standards
• Liaison with Shareholder teams to ensure that active equipment is fully operational and passes all criteria
• Highlight potential risks to site level projects and mitigate as necessary
• Management of changes to processes
• Challenge the status quo, keep abreast of the external market and use this to drive improvements, continuous improvements and learning

What we are looking for:

• A track record of project delivery within a technical environment i.e Construction, Defence, Automotive, Aerospace, Telecoms
• Good Microsoft excel skills
• Ability to challenge and influence key stakeholders
• Strong organisation skills
• Proactive problem solver
• Supplier management expertise
