The Credit Risk Manager in the Credit Risk team, leads a highly analytical team that is the powerhouse behind our credit decisioning. Your core accountability will be to deliver and manage our credit scorecards, decision trees and forecasting models, using the best modelling techniques available. You'll have lots of scope to create what you want, as we transform the products we offer our customers. You will have a close relationship with your peers that manage the credit decisioning day-to-day, and also with peers in the fraud and collections teams to create department-wide insight. Together you will deliver the best credit checking for our customers, creating a great customer experience and helping grow the business profitably. You will love leading your team of 4 analysts and lead analysts, ensuring the best modelling techniques are used, and always looking out for ways to develop and challenge your team members.
Roles & Responsibilities
The role is responsible for developing analytical models, including credit scorecards and forecasting models, and delivering great insight from them.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
General Experience Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level. Managerial Experience Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers.
- Extensive experience in advanced analytical techniques for credit or customer analytics
- Team leadership experience
- Good SAS Knowledge.
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex problems simply.
- Must have worked in a consumer focused organisation
- Based in Berkshire with 2 days / week in Maidenhead
