Compliance Specialist

Project People have a fantastic opportunity for a Compliance Specialist to join a market leading business at the forefront of technology. This is a key role within the Risk and Compliance team and you will play a big part in the development of a Compliance Management Model for an organisation with big ambition!

Your responsibilities as a Compliance Specialist will include;

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Building the structures that will create a comprehensive and robust approach to managing compliance across the business
• Putting in place procedures, policies, training and monitoring that really help the business understand what's expected of them to ensure operation in line with the laws and regulations that apply
• Build detailed elements of a compliance management model and embed them across the business
• You'll need to be able to explain why operating in line with all these laws and regulations is good for customers, employees and the wider business
• Regularly review our approach to compliance and the structures we have in place, to make sure they remain fit for purpose.
• Working with the business and with specialist teams to ensure what the compliance risks and issues are
• Bringing your knowledge and experience of building and running compliance programmes and using that expertise to help the business adapt and improve the way it operates

The ideal Compliance Specialist will have;

• Experience in developing Compliance Management Models
• Strong stakeholder management/engagement
• Excellent communication skills
• Telecommunication compliance experience preferred
