Business Project Manager

We are looking for a Business Project Manager to work for a high profile, well loved brand within the telecoms sector that also offers flexible working from the office (Reading) when everything gets back to normal. This role will set direction and provide leadership and guidance to the project team including internal and partner resources. This role is more focused on Business project management as opposed to technical.

The role involves:

• Work collaboratively with all delivery partners (internal/external) to understand the project demand and secure resource.
• Demonstrated experience of working on the business side of project management rather than technical
• Drive a culture of continual improvement across all portfolios, technical and business
• Coordinating and Developing strong stakeholder relationships with customers and partners
• Responsible for the day to day management of the project and assures that the project is being delivered effectively to reduce risk

Required Skills:

• Experience in delivering large complex project.
• Demonstration of strong strategic thinking skills and ability to analyse complex issues, be bold in decision making and to design and implement practical solutions to address them
• Candidates coming from telecoms, utilities, retail or finance would be very desirable
• Having strong leadership and people skills, with experience of managing diverse teams .
• Experience of managing a large partner/vendor relationships
• Must have worked in both Agile & Waterfall environments
