Application Test Manager / Programme Manager

My client is looking for a highly organised and driven Senior Test / Programme Manager who will have had experience of delivering new solutions across Europe for a large IT / Retail customer.

Requirement:

This will comprise the following key activities plus whatever other related tasks are identified by the programme in the course of testing.

Environment Analysis

• Work with the Test Management team to maintain the catalogue of environments required for each project stream and test phase of the Slovenia New Markets test program identifying:
  • application,
  • version, (still to be completed)
  • environment (Test, UAT, etc.)
  • component servers
  • location

• Identify gaps
  • Missing environments
    • Hardware and licences required
  • Additional resources needed to carry out Release Planning and Deployment Management

Release Planning and Deployment Management

• Manage the phased build of new test infrastructure, especially DIGI, Madrid and new EPOS
• Set up a mechanism for environment booking and allocation
• Manage the release of environments for test execution
  • Application installation
  • Test data load
  • Environment smoke testing
  • Release to test team
