This leading telecoms company are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their busy team.

This role will be responsible for all aspects of Fixed Asset accounting and reporting. You will also be required to own the team road map and continue to review, develop and implement change to improve the current process to increase accuracy and ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Inventory accounting and valuation
• Sub-ledger review
• Accruals accounting
• Cost Capitalisation process
• Fixed Asset creation for shareholders
• Depreciation calculations and reporting for multiple depreciation policies
• Asset disposals and write offs
• Asset transfers
• Preparation of Fixed Asset movement schedule for Shareholders and Statutory reporting
• Relevant Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Calculate and Report on stock turnover
• Ensure effective action is taken to address slow moving items
• Forecast stock write off
• Appropriateness of project structure and system reporting dimensions for enabling effective Fixed Asset management
• Accurate reporting and active monitoring of Assets under Construction (AUC)
• Timely completion of Balance Sheet reconciliation and effective resolution of outstanding items

You must have:

• ACCA or equivalent qualified
• A minimum of 4 years + accounting experience within a large organisation
• Fixed Asset management and inventory accounting experience
• Expert in Excel
• Audit experience is a nice to have
