Job Description

2nd Line Support Engineer (Service Desk/Deskside/Desktop/Windows 10/O365/Citrix) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 6 months rolling contract, to be based in Manchester, Greater Manchester.

Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Excellent client facing, face to face and remote BAU support experience
  • Strong support experience of the following: Office 365, Windows 7 & 10, PC (base units/screens etc.)
  • Hardware fault diagnosis and repair experience is very useful.
  • Familiarity with the use of thin clients and Citrix Receiver.
  • Provides technical support within a BAU & project/deployment environment, including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution and maintenance.
  • Desirable: financial services or banking sector experience.
  • Advises customers on preventative maintenance and configuration adjustments to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Responds to customer questions regarding operation and malfunctions.
  • Experience of working with third parties.
