FINANCE ANALYST - Fully Qualified ACCA|ACA|CIMA

6 MONTH CONTRACT

READING/HYBRID- (2-3 days per week in office)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our busy Team

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the T&O team in collecting data (finance, project teams etc...) from various sources, analysing that data and generating insights against specific business metrics to assess and improve business performance using those metrics. This will also involve supporting the accounting of these costs appropriately and generating necessary reconciliations and supporting documentation.

The Finance Analyst will also be responsible for supporting the external audit process through direct engagement with auditors, provision of audit evidence and resolution of audit queries in the area.

Key Deliverables

• Produce monthly reconciliations and supporting documentation
• Support analysis of actuals vs budgets/forecasts through data gathering and explanations for variances
• Support internal/external audits through providing responses to audit queries, provision of audit evidence as needed and resolution of audit issues raised

The successful Finance Analyst will have:

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified.
• Excel Advanced
• Experience of interfacing with commercial teams.
• Report writing and presenting to a senior management audience.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate in a demand led, rapid change environment.
