Design Engineering Manager. Permanent Opportunity. Theale

Design Engineering Manager required for an exciting permanent opportunity to work for an established network site consolidation program creating a single grid. Generating efficiencies in cell site deployment and the operation of the network infrastructure with the continuous responsibility for maintaining and managing the infrastructure assets and sites across the UK.

• The role holder will be responsible for designing cooling solutions for the cabinets which contain network equipment.
• Technical lead for BAU design queries
• Ensure design standards and solutions are to appropriate standard and legislation.
• Lead Design Authority for engineering speciality.
• Review incoming active design changes and assess impact on passive design guidelines.

You will have site design experience (telco) and knowledge of cooling systems , to design cooling solutions within the cabinets and be the Technical Authority for designs. Experience working with external suppliers and stakeholders. Working knowledge of telco infrastructure.
