We are looking for :

Experience with FCA conduct sourcebooks for clients, focused on managing conduct risk and compliance across retail banking, payments & lending (strong knowledge across CONC, BCOBs, MCOBs, ICOBs, SYSC, DISP).

Device / White Goods Consumer Insurance experience

Happy to be in Reading offices 2 days per week

Your Role as a Compliance Lead:

As a Compliance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our mobile telecoms operations adhere to consumer finance regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, identifying and addressing potential risks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to integrate compliance measures seamlessly into our operations.

Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate compliance risks, keeping our telecoms services at the forefront of ethical business practices.

Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on compliance status, utilizing your analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

Ideally Big 4 Background: Previous experience with a Big 4 firm is essential, bringing a wealth of knowledge and best practices would be useful, not essential

Strong knowledge across source books (CONC, BCOBs, MCOBs, ICOBs, SYSC, DISP etc) - essential

Consumer Finance Expertise: In-depth knowledge of consumer finance / consumer credit compliance ideally within the telecoms sector

Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry, adapting quickly to changes in regulations and technology.

Collaborative Spirit: Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of compliance and ethical practices.
