Commercial Manager

Permanent - Competitive Salary + Bonus + Car Allowance

An exciting new permanent opportunity has arisen working for a leading global innovative company based in SW London. As Commercial Manager you will be responsible for the commercial activities surrounding the procurement of innovative technology and digital services (eg IoT, data monetisation, cloud).

This customer facing position will involve vendor management of all cross company contracts, ensuring supplier contractual adherence, SLA delivery, negotiations and contract renewals.

Working in a fast paced environment, you will need to be switched on to the needs of the business and be able to source suppliers and manage the negotiations from start to finish, plus manage the ongoing relationships.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies
  • Manage the supplier process - analysis, issue of RFP, assessment, contract placement, contract drafting, contract negotiation and contract management
  • Support stakeholders in their procurement requirements from identification of business need, production of commercial elements of the business case, through to contract signature
  • Lead commercial negotiations with vendors
  • Manage global enterprise contracts with Group vendors
  • Manage commercial relations with preferred vendors
  • Establish and maintain the contract renewal schedule and ensure timely review of contract renewals with stakeholders and vendors

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience of working with procurement teams for the procurement of digital products and services
  • Multi-year experience running end to end technology procurement processes
  • Contract placement and management
  • Vendor and stakeholder management
  • Manage vendor delivery, contract negotiations, SLAs
  • Ability to work in international and dynamic environments
  • Must be results orientated
  • Have strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Have strong commercial awareness, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload against business/project requirements
  • Forward thinking / strategic
