Audit Manager (Strategic Finance)

Reading - Hybrid working
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Financial Reporting, this role will be responsible for providing support for strategic financial reporting both internally and externally for UK.
The role will support and prepare various elements of financial reporting stemming from strategic projects going on in the business. It will build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels and develop a well-rounded knowledge of the business.
The role requires an extensive background in technical and financial reporting including the following:
- Financial Reporting and Statutory Requirements
- Financial Audit
- Financial Accounting
- Strategic management accounting information
- Financial Modelling
- Planning and Organising.
- Appreciation of the customer (both internal and external), their needs and how to meet them.
What we are looking for
- Qualified ACA or ACCA qualification with proven experience within a similar finance position
- Current or Recent experience within Audit Firms
- Experience of dealing with reporting structures, systems and stakeholder management.
- A strong understanding of reporting automation, improvements and future developments in the field.
- Exceptional interpersonal, networking, negotiation, influencing, and communication skills are essential at all levels
- Have experience, with evidence, of a proactive approach and credible outcomes in project work.
- Extensive IFRS Controls experience - Strategy and Technical Accounting
