X86 Architect SME (Security cleared) - Contract - Remote

Leading defence industry IT Service Provider require a skilled X86 Architect on an ongoing contract basis.

Please note: A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered

Role Purpose

We are looking for Architect to support the client in migrating their X86 servers out of data centres and into their Crown Hosting data centres. To support this activity, we require an architect with very strong X86 skills in Windows and Linux to aid the migration project.

The architect will be responsible for defining the solution and producing the technical documentation. The documents they will need to produce will include High Level designs, migration patterns and blueprints. The role will involve working closely with the customer and other third party teams.

- Strong background in X86 (Windows and Linux)

- Producing high quality documentation

- Strong technical skills in Windows and Linux

- Previous experience of migrating X86 payloads.
