Wintel Engineer - London (On-site with shifts) - Contract

**A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered**

Leading Defence sector Managed Service Provider require a skilled Wintel engineer on an ongoing contract basis to work on-site in Central London. The successful applicant will be a highly motivated support specialist with a good knowledge, experience and technical awareness of working within a secure environment and an understanding of the implementation of secure solutions. Must be flexible and able to work on multiple tasks on a day-to-day basis.

The role will involve a range of technical support and associated activities while contributing to the ongoing provision of services to the end client.

The role will include, among a range of other responsibilities:

• Regular support for users of Wintel Applications including creating and managing back-ups, account creation, trouble tickets escalated from 1st line, access issues etc
• Working with bespoke applications including SCCM and SCOM
• Patching various systems across the network and standalone systems
• Test and Integration
• Some networking (Cisco)
