Job Description:

My client is looking for a VMware Technical Architect with excellent VMware product knowledge, plus strong experience designing enterprise scale solutions. This is a 6 month contract based from home with travel to Manchester

This is a great opportunity for an experienced architect to join a team that is focused on designing and delivering complex public/private cloud solutions for large public and enterprise clients. The VMware technical architect will use their technical VMware skills to support the Product Manager with technical leadership, guidance and solution governance for all VMware activities.

In this role you will be:

• Lead Architect VMware to support the pre-sales, design, delivery and operation of VMware technology offerings
• Support the Private Cloud Product Manager by providing VMware technical leadership, guidance and solution governance for all VMware activities
• Architecting VMware solutions in hybrid cloud environments
• Implementing VMware solutions and proof of concept environments
• Participating in client workshops and working as part of joint Fujitsu/client teams
• Documenting solutions and identifying risks for management
• Providing expert VMware technical consultancy and advice to clients and project teams

Skills - Desirable

The following skills and qualifications are also desirable:
* Experience working in an agile environment
* AWS Solution Architect Certification
* Microsoft Azure Certification
