Great opportunity for a Vendor Specialist to join a leading telecoms company during an exciting phase, supporting their Vendor Manager who is responsible for managing 8-10 ADC Suppliers. The role will be part of a small team consisting of the manager, plus this role, but will interface into other areas of the business i.e. operations, delivery, legal etc.

You Will Need To Be Able To

The role will suit someone experienced with commercial contracts to support the Vendor Manager in owning the commercial and contract relationships with several major vendors.

• Ensure that services are delivered to contractual commitments whilst maintaining and building robust partner relationships.
• Conduct regular contract reviews with Vendors and performance manage to service levels.
• Drive continual improvement by analysing lessons learned for improved future contracts.
• Manage any change to in-life contracts
• Ensure company obligations are also met

Background

• Ideally telecom / ADC knowledge preferred (not essential)
• Understand how contracts work
• Experience of developing strong relationships with vendors and business stakeholders plus a track record of negotiating successful commercial outcomes
• Comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders
