TRANSMISSION MANAGER - OPERATIONS

Summary

We have a new contract position available (via umbrella company payment), to take overall responsibility for end to end transmission Performance, Incident, Problem and CSI in the live operational environment.

Within the role you will be responsible for ensuring Service Operations is achieving high standards in line with, and beyond contractual service levels. Manage the introduction of new transmission architectures / solutions to meet shareholder transformation initiatives.

We are seeking individuals who experience of working with kit/service providers such as NEC, SIAE, BT, Virgin Media, Huawei or Ericsson - all in the Access Transmission / Backhaul / IP / Core / Transport network domains.

A good understanding of data analytics and reporting will be vital. To deal with new data rates for 5G services, there will be an increased demand on these reporting functions, so knowledge of tools such as Tableau / Qlikview / Microstrategy, or experience with big data will be required.
