My global IT outsourcing client is going through a period of growth and is looking to hire an Infrastructure Test Manager. The Test Manager will work closely alongside the Infrastructure and Development team as part of this dynamic and challenging environment.

Job Description:


The main responsibilities are verification of system and functional testing of infrastructure to achieve FAT/SAT. In addition there will be a requirement to assist with the planning and coordinating of test activities in the UK and overseas. Also FAT/SAT report writing, team task allocation and working close with Project Planner to ensure priority tasks are complete.

Key Accountabilities

• Creation of test cases and identifies test data in response to clearly defined requirements.
  * Execution of test cases and the recording of test results in accordance with established test plan(s).
  * Test results checking and reporting.
  * Test Incident (Defect) logging and support.
  * Collection of testing related measurements and metrics.

Skills Required:
Active Directory, to include GPO, DNS.
SCCM.
SCOM.
Experience working in a Secure Environment (HPPT).
Experience of Windows Server 2008 R2 Environment based product and application installation, configuration and validation.
Experience of low-level system software.
Experience of system test & validation of the MS product set.
Experience of testing Client/Server, Web-based and WTS configurations.
VMWare Virtualization.
Lumension Application and Device control.
ISEB\ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing.
Ability to respond to changing project time scales and prioritise work accordingly.

Desirable Skills Required:
Familiarity with bespoke user applications on distributed systems.
SQL Server 2008.
ORACLE 10g or above.
ISEB\ISTQB Advanced Certified in Software Testing.
Knowledge of and experienced in military systems.
NetApp Storage.
LogRythm.
Experience of testing Cisco networking.
PKI and certificate services.

Due to the nature of the work, candidates will need to hold SC clearance prior to starting.
