Technical Service Engineer - Cisco - 2nd line Support - Belfast

Our client is a global IT services and Technology Provider who is currently looking for experienced 2nd line Service Engineers to play a key role within their Belfast based Network Operation Centre.

You will be working for one of their major retail customers and acting as a single point of contact for their users and much of your role will be focused on the management of both routine and non-routine incidents, problems and requests.

As the Associate Technical Service Engineer, you will be providing mainly 1st line support but will also require 2nd line capabilities and able to identify and escalate technical issues to 3rd line as they arise.

Work will be on a 12 hour shift basis (4 on - 4 off rota) so applicants must be flexible and comfortable with this way of working.

You will ideally have the following skill set:

  • 1st and 2nd line Network support experience.
  • Good knowledge of routers, switches and access pints (Cisco, Juniper etc)
  • Previous NOC experience would be beneficial
  • Any knowledge of Meraki Product set would be ideal but not essential.
