Technical IT delivery Manager - Reading - Contract

A telecom giant in UK is looking for "Technical IT Delivery Manger" on contract basis at their Reading office

The successful applicant will focus on managing the development/delivery of their analytics/business intelligence platform. But this is not all, you will also need to be able to introduce and run IT delivery processes, including gated processes and agile processes within a BI/Data warehouse development organisation.

It's a hybrid role, and looking for a delivery focussed, technically astute Project Manager, with proven experience of delivering change around Analytics/BI platforms.

Must Have skills:

• Significant proven experience and demonstrable ability in delivering major projects
• Able to lead and matrix manage a project team including multiple partners, delivering to meet business objectives and programme outcomes
• Highly proficient in Project Management principles, methods, techniques, and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation and closure
• Experience of working within a delivery organisation that supports different delivery models, for example, but not limited to, Agile, Scrum, large scale releases.
• Experience of working within the IT Software Delivery Lifecycle and knowledge of key concepts of development and testing.
• Experience of working within a complex IT environment with significant volume of change
• Project Management experience, with appropriate qualification or accreditation, for example, but not limited to Prince2, PMI, etc.
