Talent Manager - Contract to 31st March 2022 initially - Mobile Telecoms - Berkshire

Exciting new opportunity for a Talent Manager to join our People Team, reporting directly in to our Director of People, to help us make the most of the talent we have within our business, and partner with our RPO to ensure we are onboarding the best new talent.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Accountable for the resourcing plan & strategic workforce planning - collaborating effectively with Finance to manage data and ensure plan is regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Management of assessment process for employees for promotions, development and secondment opportunities
  • Responsible for creating and developing our talent strategy, launching talent review approaches to identify talent in accordance with the needs of the business.
  • Develop talent strategies, designing succession programmes and contingency frameworks.
  • Help to launch and supervise the learning and development strategy, plan and assess future capability needs in order to identify learning priorities across the organisation
  • Drive a culture of continuous professional development, supporting all personal development plans (PDP)
  • Creating development interventions for those identified as talent
  • Measuring the value of different talent, development and inclusion interventions for continuous improvement
  • Lead our diversity plan and networks. Upskill managers and employees, whilst conducting a wider organisational review of practices and processes for improving and creating a truly inclusive environment where diversity is attracted and celebrated.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience with Internal Talent Management. You'll be able to demonstrate facilitating L&D, Succession Planning, and internal mobility.
  • Experience of Talent Acquisition - EVP development, ensuring best in class candidate experience, and active involvement in the interview and assessment process for senior hires.
  • Diversity & Inclusion - experience or ability to manage programmes of work to enhance the D&I position, and actively contribute to maintaining an inclusive environment that celebrates the diversity of it's workforce.
  • Workforce Planning - you'll have an understanding of SWP, and can work with senior stakeholders within the business to forecast and deliver talent and resource requirements against their strategic goals.
