Leading IT Services Provider requires System Architect to join their successful Practice.

Systems architect with experience of delivering VDI Infrastructure to enterprise customers within a high security environment. As the post holder you will work as part of a multi skilled agile team, and where the key element of the role will be the collaboration within the wider multi-skilled team and orientated to owning the delivery of work packages throughout their lifecycle. Reporting into the Solution Owner and PM team, the post holder will own the overall design through the production and delivery of design artefacts, through prototyping and testing to ensure the work package meet the functional and non-functional requirements. The candidate will be responsible for the delivery of ongoing change to the work package, in response to evolving user requirements. In tandem with this the post holder will be responsible for the creating and maintaining of support and design documentation to assist users and support personnel in maintaining the work package throughout its life.

Your experience

• Demonstrable experience of delivering VDI solutions e.g. VMWare Horizon in a secure environment.
• Demonstrable experience of owning the delivery of a work package from design, through prototyping, ensuring the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• Extensive experience of troubleshooting and supporting service teams for the resolution of technical issues, and able to provide early life support.
• Candidates must an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems administration within an enterprise environment - delivery of configuration change via GPO, Registry, Filesystem, PowerShell cmdlets or, WMI, as well as Windows Update and patching mechanisms, including Windows Installer.
• Extensive experience of defining designs in line with requirements, whilst meeting delivery and operational challenges.
