Support Engineer - Active Directory (SC Cleared) - Contract - Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

A global IT services company is searching for a Support Engineer - Active Directory to join their team on a contract basis in Wakefield. Due to the nature of the role candidates will require SC clearance.

The Support Engineer - Active Directory will join the end-user service team to support the managed desktop service.

The Support Engineer - Active Directory will provide Active Directory support as well as desktop support. You will provide low level changes on Active Directory using ServiceNow.

You will provide end user device, Blackberry and O365 support for a large number of users. You will be responsible for importing application packages into SCCM, updating the Incident Management System and service reporting for remote desktop support. You will support Blackberry 3rd line and O365 solutions, import application packages into SCCM and investigate SCCM deployment issues.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong Active Directory experience, including creating groups, adding/removing users, enabling/disabling user accounts, creating share folders and creating distribution lists.
  • Recent experience of 2nd line deskside support, Microsoft Office, SCCM 2012, Windows 7 or Windows 10. Understanding or experience of RES Widsom. MS Office skills. Citrix. Powershell Scripting.
