Structural Design Engineer (Telecoms) - Permanent - Reading, Berkshire

Design Engineer - this is a permanent opportunity working for a rapidly growing Mobile Telecoms company based near Reading. They require a Structural Design Engineer with experience designing mobile telecoms structures (towers, masts, etc).

As Design Engineer you will be acting as supporting Technical Authority for all design and implementation relating to the deployment of passive infrastructure into their site portfolio. You will be responsible for component design for both existing and new sites and you will support the Design Lead with all design queries, including queries for sites out of service and maintenance issues. You will be responsible for analysing solutions and developing new products, ensuring compliance in installation quality and ensuring acceptable performance of network sites.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Must have experience using MSTower
• Experience in leading in-house calculations, design cross checks, tower and pole assessments
• Responsible for checking supplier GDC's
• Broad experience working in tower design
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Solid experience in designing passive infrastructure for telecoms sites
