Job Description

We are recruiting for a Strategic Account Relationship Manager for a huge UK Telecoms Infrastructure company on a perm basis, based mainly remotely with some travel to Reading.

Due to continued growth, we are actively seeking a consultative and collaborative Strategic Account Relationship Manager to join our team. Within this newly created role, you will report into the Chief Commercial Officer and be accountable for leading and orchestrating the multiple relationship interfaces between the business and our two anchor customers, ensuring all relationships are managed in strategic unison. The commercial function is being newly formed within Cornerstone now they have commercialised the business. They still have anchor tenants (Vodafone and O2), but the business now generate a revenue and operate a P&L.

This role will be key to leading the strategic relationship with Vodafone and Telefonica moving forward. As the Strategic Account Relationship Manager, you will partner with key stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of each of our customers' requirements, strategic direction and contractual status

They will need to able to get to grips with the MSA (Multi Service Agreements) in place with both VF and O2. The market is evolving, and the demands of these anchor tenants is changing, and will continue to change. This role is key to understanding how Cornerstone can service them continuously. This could be around understanding connectivity requirements, data requirements, land/tower requirements, looking at macro sites etc. The Strategic Account Relationship Manager, will not only look to understand how Cornerstone can service them, but also look to develop solutions.

  • Experience in mobile network and/or TowerCo environment is highly desirable
  • Experience in leading complex / multi level / high contributing relationships with large and sophisticated customers
  • Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of large complex contracts
  • Experience in leading commercial negotiations and able to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of standard legal and financial mechanisms with commercial contracts
  • Experienced in defining strategies that deliver growth with a proven track record
  • Experience in solution/consultative sales through customer relationships
  • Have highly developed solution selling, customer relations and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively consult and influence chief executives.
