We have an excellent permanent opportunity for Solutions Designer / Architect Exciting to work for one of the leading innovative mobile infrastructure services company.

We are looking for an experienced IT professional capable of bridging business and technical domains. The role possesses a solid combination of solution design, technical implementation, communication and stakeholder management.

What you can expect to be doing:

As a solution designer you will work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs and business analysts to understand what challenges the business are trying to resolve, enabling you to produce solutions and designs that add real business value and meet the needs of the business. It will also be your responsibility to work with third party suppliers to ensure what is delivered meets your designs and thus satisfies the business needs including functional, non-functional requirements and first-class user experience.

To carry out end to end design of client's systems change that will meet business and user experience requirements. You will proactively engage with the stakeholders and SMEs to develop solutions that meet their requirements within the agreed scope of projects.

This role will play a key role within their architecture team, as you will be the go to person for all things Solution Design and Architecture. Reporting into the Head of Architecture, this role will be working on projects across architecture where there are various Partners and Cloud Providers.

The role is looking for someone who enjoys producing Low Level Designs (LLD's), and working in the detail. You need to be comfortable and happy delivering solutions, and engaging with stakeholders and partners regularly.

This role is the only Solution Design/Architect role within the department, so you will play a key part in a small team, deliver solutions, and will need the right attitude and technical competencies, but also the ability to communicate with stakeholders across the business, including SMT at times.

Experience we are looking for:

• Proven experience in engineering and software solution design.
• In-depth understanding of integration techniques (FTP, SOAP, Rest API's) & modern middleware technologies (Azure Integration Services), as well as coding languages (Java, JavaScript, .Net)
• Excellent inter-personal skills and abilities in managing senior stakeholders and matrix teams.
• Ability to manage and maintain enterprise architecture tools
• A good understanding of at least one of the major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP - ideally Azure.
• Experience of working with both Agile & traditional Waterfall delivery techniques and realising cloud hosted services.
• TOFAF certification
