Solution Designer - Integration/Middleware/SOAP

Exciting Permanent opportunity with a innovative telecoms infrastructure services company, looking for a Solution Designer to join their ranks. This role will play a key role within their architecture team, as you will be the go to person for all things Solution Design and Architecture. Reporting into the Head of Architecture, this role will be working on projects across architecture where there are various Partners and Cloud Providers.

This role will allow you to work in a fluid environment, that is given remit to make change, so if you enjoy making change....this role could interest you!

The role is looking for someone who enjoys producing Low Level Designs (LLD's), and workin in the detail. You need to be comfortable and happy delivering solutions, and engaging with stakeholders and partners regularly.

This role is the only Solution Design/Architect role within the department, so you will play a key part in a small team, and will need the right attitude and technical competencies, but also the ability to communicate with stakeholders across the business, including SMT at times. This role is looking for someone with -

  • Proven experience in engineering and software solution design.
  • In-depth understanding of integration techniques (FTP, SOAP, Rest API's) & modern middleware technologies (Azure Integration Services), as well as coding languages (Java, JavaScript, .Net)
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and abilities in managing senior stakeholders and matrix teams.
  • Ability to manage and maintain enterprise architecture tools

You will use your design and architecture skillset to build and integrate information systems, ensuring the architecture designs meet business needs, as well as creating functional specifications and assessing the current software systems.
