Due to a skill shortage my client is looking to hire Solaris Architect ASAP. The role as been signed off for 6 months, however, it is likely to extended. The successful candidate will need to go through a basic background check before starting but once on site they will be put through SC clearance (please note you do not have to have SC clearance already to be secure this role).

They would also consider an Architect with Strong Cloud experience:

Hybrid Cloud solutions, Public cloud experience (AWS and Azure), VMWare,

Experience

• Experience of transforming traditional IT to a hybrid cloud model, preferably based on AWS, Microsoft Azure and VMWare technologies
• Successfully performed role of solution architect and experience of delivering large scale change and complex solutions, ideally in central government.
• Ability to map technology transformation to business change outcomes.
• Wide solution architecture knowledge
• Proven track record of building successful customer relationships and winning new business.
• Self-starter who is passionate for successful outcomes both for Fujitsu and our customer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deal with complex and thought provoking conversations.
• Excellent technical and consultancy skills both in a pre-sales and delivery environment.

Advantages

• Excellent understanding of existing infrastructure technologies (including Oracle Solaris, IBM AIX, Wintel) and middleware (including Oracle RDBMS, Oracle WebLogic)
• Knowledge and experience of Enterprise Management technologies would be an advantage
• Knowledge and experience of enterprise level backup solutions would be an advantage
• Knowledge and experience of Cloud platforms and technologies, including AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge and experience of Agile deployment methodologies.
