Job Description
Software Reliability Engineer (Mandarin Speaking)
Location: Reading, UK
We have a new opening position for a programming graduate to join a leading ICT company. This is an entry level position which will suit recent graduates with experience in software programming.
What you will do:
- Work and communicate with project team members, such as Project Manager, Department Manager, IT and Logistics to understand internal project management process and solution
- Provide digital capabilities to various project teams across the Western European region to achieve better reporting and reduce the number of repetitive manual tasks with automation
- Maintain existing tools and communicate with project team members to understand the business requirements and further improve the current system
- Collect and feed data from other internal programs and software in JSON format, using essential knowledge of REST or SOAP API calls
- Utilise Power BI to produce reports with insights
The ideal candidate:
- Degree in IT or Computer Science related subjects
- Experience in one of the following programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, C++，Java, VBA or HTML
- Competency in Microsoft Office Software and Windows OS
- Understanding of network communication
- Understanding of project planning and project organisation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
