Job Description

Service/Infrastructure Delivery Manager (Telecoms, Storage & Network Infrastructure) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 6 months rolling contract, to be based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Support the Systems Infrastructure team in the management of demand and delivery of hosting and co-location services.
  • Must have extensive experience and in-depth understanding in Storage and Network Infrastructure services
  • Work as part of an infrastructure architecture team, managing requests to be delivered to time, quotation and quality of delivery through various phases in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on infrastructure capacity and proactively highlights risks with hosting services capacity.
  • Monitor and report on infrastructure KPI in accordance with agreed OLA with Operations.
  • Ensure services and infrastructure are able to deliver the agreed capacity and performance targets in timely manner.
  • Support infrastructure team with RAID management issues (risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies), including updating status on this.
  • Assist with the following: managing hosting and co-location request, change requests and request fulfilment artefacts, producing quotes and engaging with other teams for supply of hosting and co-location services, continuous improvement of Centralised Infrastructure Delivery (CID) process.
  • Strong understanding in Telecommunications Process Framework (TMF eTOM) and IT Service Management Framework (ITIL)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, management and communication skills.
  • Strong experience in Service Delivery of Hosting and Infrastructure Services.
  • Proven track record of running an effective IT Capacity and Performance Management function.
  • Experience with products such as: IBM SCCD, VMware vRealize Operations or similar
