We are currently recruiting for a Service Operations Manager to join the Core Operations Team of one of the leading telecommunications brand!


The main purpose of the Service Operations Manager's role is to drive service excellence in the delivery of all TowerCo maintenance services, Access, Planned and Reactive on behalf of the client through the day to day management of Key Suppliers. The Service Operations Manager will be a role model being accountable to manage, inspire and guide a team of Operations Managers to drive ongoing service improvements in delivery to meet and exceed expectations whilst demonstrating best in class practice, financial and people management, also providing input and the vision to drive the business forward in an effective and efficient manner.


* Build, manage and lead matrix teams for the duration of the core services and projects being delivered by the wider Core Operations group.

* Develop and maintain close, professional and productive relationships with all key interested parties and stakeholders in the delivery of projects and services.

* Demonstrate strong leadership and people skills building productive relationships with a proven ability to positively engage and challenge existing methodologies to support and guide teams to deliver positive outcomes.

* Manage change within the service delivery brought about by changes and impacts of scope, timescales, costs and quality of the base lined contract.


* Considerable functional knowledge gained from working in a mobile telecoms network deployment and/or operations environment

* Extensive experience of leading and motivating teams to deliver large mission critical services to strict service levels.

* Experience of effective Stakeholder Management - customers, shareholders, and third-party suppliers.

* Significant experience of management in a fast moving and fluid environment

* Prince II Practitioner or equivalent methodology

* Clear & concise communication skills at all levels and externally with 3rd party suppliers & stakeholders
